We started off by messing around with clay, and then we got to idea of making characters with the clay. We used appeal, and squash and stretch. From the start to finish, we had lots of fun. For appeal, we used it because our characters were always moving around and having charisma. For squash and stretch, we used it because obviously we have squished the clay and we combined clay in some parts of the film. Something about stop motion that I like is how a bunch of pictures can make video. It is really cool, and you can pretty much make anything an animation!

The cinemagraphs I created were a soda can pouring out soda but only the liquid was moving and a tissue being pulled from a tissue box. They both seemed to be very interesting ideas before recording and they both ended up working out very well. This project was not very difficult but I did find myself having to rerecord the soda can video quite a few times. I would recommend having back up ideas before starting recording because your first idea might not work out the way you planned.
What was your theme and why did you pick it?
